Came into force on 1st May 2021, the complement of contract remuneration of this park is a 20-year period. The wind farm has four Vestas V117 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 3 MW, and its electricity production is estimated at more than 30 GWh per year or the equivalent of the annual consumption of approximately 10,000 French households.

With the commissioning of the Bazougeais wind farm, the first in 2021 for Boralex, the Company is taking another step forward in achieving the Growth objective of its strategic plan. This objective aims in particular to achieve an installed capacity of 2,800 MW worldwide by 2023.

“We are very happy to see the wind farm rise from the ground. In addition to serving the general interest of its region, the development of the Bazougeais wind farm is supported by a concerted approach supported with local populations and State services. This healthy and collaborative approach is part of our corporate social responsibility. It makes it possible to perpetuate a good neighbourly relationship within the regions ”, declared Nicolas Wolff, Vice-President and General Manager Boralex, Europe.

Taking into account the recent sale of the Blendecques cogeneration plant, Boralex’s installed capacity in France amounts to 1,040 MW and its total capacity worldwide to 2,455 MW.
